Fitness membership reminders: verify dates before sending

Illustrative workflow. The situations and messages below are fictional examples, not customer testimonials or measured results.

Separate state and values

Use tags for groups such as active, paused and review needed. Store expiry dates as individual values. Verify remaining sessions, extensions and renewals against the actual membership records.

Review this week’s list

Choose a regular time to inspect upcoming expiries. Remove renewed members and check recent pauses before selecting recipients. Smart tags still depend on correct underlying data.

Write a factual reminder

A fictional example: Your current membership ends on September 28. Please reply if you need to check your remaining sessions. Use the confirmed date, and review advertising requirements before adding renewal discounts.

Confirm any reservation

Entering an expiry date does not automatically create a seven-day reminder. Check the actual scheduled message and update it when membership details change. Track errors and unresolved replies rather than assuming a renewal-rate improvement.
